2m squared artspace presents ‘The Second Wave’ A programme of exhibitions and performance from 6 July - 27 July 2020. All performances will be shown live on the 2m squared instagram account @2msquaredartspace.
The Second performance in the programme is Poor Mother: Artist Bio(me)
Artist Bio(me) is an attempt to make sense of our current situation through a dissection of their own artists bio. It works with recorded language and repetition to question our new SuReality. Poor Mother performs live along with video, eventually synching to it, and the piece plays with the idea of personal truths, performing the everyday and awareness of an audience.
Luce Stewart is a performance artist currently studying at The Slade School of Fine Art in London. They make work under the drag persona Poor Mother.
